Guasu Metropolitan Park is a large and spacious urban park in Asuncion, which pleasantly surprised us mainly because it is dog-friendly and offers plenty of greenery as well as comfortable paved paths. Water is available for both dogs and people, parking is free, and it is easy to get here from the city center by Uber for about 2 to 3 EUR. At the time of our visit, shortly after the rain, the park was almost empty – we only met one dog accompanied by a runner.
